Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026
You Sure About That? (yousurescheduling.com) is operated by Rich Tackenberg, an individual. It helps two people privately check whether they both still want to keep a plan. Privacy is the point of it, so this page is short and literal.
What we keep
- The plan: what it is, when and where, and the names given for the two people.
- The phone numbers of people who opted in to texts, and when each person opted in.
- The outcome of each plan: on, off, or canceled.
- A record of each text we send: when, and whether it was delivered. Not what it said.
- The numbers that replied STOP, so we never text them again unless they reply START.
What we delete: your answer
Your answer to the check-in (“I’m In” or “I’d Rather Skip”) is kept only until the plan is decided. It’s deleted at the moment the outcome is recorded, or straight away if either person cancels. After that there’s no record of what either of you answered, only whether the plan went ahead. Deleted data can remain in our database provider’s routine backups for a limited time before they’re overwritten.
Nobody running the app looks at individual answers, before or after the decision.
What the other person learns
- If the plan goes ahead, nothing about how you answered. You both get the same message.
- If you both chose to skip, you both learn that you both wanted out. That’s the only way a plan is called off by the check-in.
- If you tap “I have to cancel,” your friend is told it was you.
How we use it
Only to run your plans and send the texts you asked for. No advertising, and no advertising or analytics trackers.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We use a few service providers to run the app, and they handle data only to provide that service: Twilio sends the texts, Supabase stores the database, and Vercel hosts the website. We’d disclose information if the law required it, which is one reason we don’t keep answers.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Reply START to resume.
- Email richtacklist@gmail.com to have your phone number and plans deleted. If you’ve replied STOP, we keep your number on the do-not-text list so we can honor it.
Children
The app isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes here with a new date. See also our Terms and how our texts work.
